Norman Morgan
Norman Morgan is, at November 2014, the last Llanhilleth man to play rugby for Wales.
A full back, he scored 14 points in his 3 international games in 1960 against Scotland, France and Ireland.
His club sides were Llanhilleth RFC and Newport RFC and he also played for The British Army, Monmouthshire, Crawshays and The Barbarians.
Born 26th March 1935, he lived at 8, Pleasant View, Llanhilleth.
A prestigious goal kicker, his tally of 951 points during his 1955/56 to 1961/62 Newport career was a club record until surpassed by Paul Turner in 1991.
